Speaker: Carmel Murphy
Carmel is the Director of FORME Ergonomics and Workplace Health Inc., an occupational health management consulting company providing services in ergonomics, disability management, and workplace health.
She is a Registered Physiotherapist and has attained the designations Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist (CCPE) and Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) and brings over 20 years’ experience from health care, industrial, and corporate environments. Carmel works with companies to develop ergonomic, disability management, or healthy organization programs; completes risk assessments at a macro and individual level in both office and industrial settings; and provides individual and group coaching for prevention of injury, discomfort management, and positive impact on workplace productivity, performance, and safety. She enjoys providing training and education for adults, ranging from customized training for clients to provision of ergonomics education to Occupational Health & Safety students at BCIT.
