Speaker: Ian Rood
Ian is a certified manufacturing technologist with 20 years robotic and automation systems integration experience in Ontario’s manufacturing industries, primarily automotive. As a self-employed consultant and manager of a large integration company, Ian was part of the progression of the application of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) in Ontario.
Ian is currently participating in the development of the CSA Z434 Standard 2010 Edition, and is performing machine-guarding consultation and assessment here in British Columbia, as well as training for industry in cooperation with Food Industry Occupational Safety Association of BC.
